Transfer rumours dominate Friday’s headlines as Frank Lampard reportedly looks to strengthen his squad further in the coming weeks.

French outlet L’Equipe claims Everton are close to completing the signing of Rennes striker Serhou Guirassy.

According to the report, the 26-year-old is keen for a move away from the Ligue 1 side, with Lampard and Director of Football Kevin Thelwell eager to complete a deal before the end of the week.

The Guinea international scored 12 goals in 48 appearances across all competitions last season.

The Liverpool Echo have provided an update on the rumoured pursuit of Idrissa Gana Gueye.

According to the local read, manager Lampard is frustrated that a deal for Gana hasn’t been completed ahead of tomorrow’s match against Aston Villa.

The Daily Mail adds to these reports and claims the Club have turned their attention to Red Bull Salzburg’s Mohamed Camara due to delays to an agreement for Gana's severance package with Paris Saint-Germain.

Finally, Everton are positive over completing a deal for Strasbourg striker Ludovic Ajorque, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.

The report claims positive negotiations have taken place, with both sides confident of getting a deal over the line for the 28-year-old.
