Italian publication Calciomercato reports that Everton could be tempted by a bargain offer for Valencia striker Goncalo Guedes.

The 24-year-old netted 14 goals this season and it is claimed Valencia are looking to ease financial strain on the club by parting ways with the Portuguese star.

The reported asking price would be €15million.

The Liverpool Echo writes that Everton's main priority to begin this transfer window is to make keeper Robin Olsen a permanent signing.

The Swede joined the Toffees on loan from Roma last season and the report says Carlo Ancelotti met with Marcel Brands this week over plans to agree a deal for the goalkeeper.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano believes Everton have ended their pursuit of Norwich City full-back Max Aarons.

When asked on Twitter whether a deal could still be on the cards, the reporter responded with "no chance".

Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus centre-back Merih Demiral could be sold this summer with Everton interested.

The publication wrote back in April that a potential swap deal could be on the cards with Moise Kean going the other way.
