Under-18s Defeated At Sunderland

Everton Under-18s' penultimate U18 Premier League North match of the season ended in a 4-0 defeat away at Sunderland.

Keith Southern's youthful side had the majority of the shots in the first half, but were ultimately undone by three goals in an 11-minute spell on the hour mark.

Marcus Neill scored a pair of close-range finishes in the space of five minutes to give the Black Cats a 2-0 lead, before centre-back Alex Lienard extended the lead with an effort from distance.

Neill went on to complete his hat-trick in the closing stages with a one-on-one finish.

Everton's final fixture of the season will take place on Saturday morning (11am BST) against league leaders Manchester City.
