Everton Under-18s midfielder Amari Moses has signed his first professional contract with the Club, penning a deal until June 2028.

The teenager – who turned 17 earlier this week – has been with the Blues Academy for more than 10 years.

This season is Moses’ debut campaign as a first-year scholar with the Club after signing a full-time agreement with the Toffees in the summer of 2025.

An exciting midfielder who can play either centrally or on the flanks, he’s made seven league appearances for Everton Under-18s this season.

On his first pro deal, Moses told evertonfc.com: “I’m very proud. It's been a long journey and this is a happy moment for me and my family.

“There have been ups and downs as I got injured in November but, overall, it’s been really good so far and I’m looking forward to keep progressing.”

In a historic occasion, Moses was part of the Under-18s squad to play in the first-ever test match at Hill Dickinson Stadium – a friendly fixture with Wigan Athletic in February 2025.

Debuting with the Under-18s in the 2023/24 season, Moses has often been playing with older teammates for the past couple of seasons.

Those experiences have aided him in settling in quickly this term, says Moses, who explained: “It helped me adapt to that type of playing style the Under-18s are used to.

“It's helped me get more physically involved in the game, as well. The coaches and everyone have been great to work with, and the players are great to play with.”

Looking forward to a comeback from injury, Moses is targeting goals – both in the short-term and long-term at the Club.

“It feels like a really good time to be an Everton player,” he added. “I’ve just got to keep a level head and try to break into that first team one day.

“When I return back from injury, hopefully I can get back on the scoresheet, and then work my way up to the Under-21s.”
