Everton Soccer Schools Inspire 2,200 Youngsters Across USA & Canada

Everton Soccer Schools made a spirited return to the USA and Canada this summer, delivering unforgettable football experiences to over 2,200 young players.

The uptake marks a whopping 20% year-on-year increase in participation, continuing the programme’s mission of inspiring the next generation of Blues, Stateside.

Everton's team of expert coaches brought their brand-new curriculum to communities far and wide, helping young players of all abilities improve their game in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment.

The youngsters were all given the chance to emulate their Everton heroes through high-energy sessions packed with learning and laughter.

A typical day at camp included structured technical drills, plus fun-filled games and challenges - culminating in the ever-popular World Cup tournament on the final day.

Every attendee walked away with a certificate, medal, and a signed Everton poster, celebrating their hard work and achievements.

And the feedback from families ensured it was another summer to remember for the Soccer Schools’ team.

One parent said: “My child enjoyed the World Cup on the last day of camp. The feedback during camp was productive and says he learned lots about positional play.”

Another added: “It was a great experience and very well organised, providing my son with new technical skills and training techniques.”

Other testimonials included:

• “The coaches did an excellent job keeping the children's attention and keeping them moving and entertained, which is quite difficult for a bunch of five-to-seven-year-olds.”
• “This is our second year and I'm always impressed with how my child has progressed in his skills after just a week.”
• “My son has been going to this camp for five years now and he loves it. The coaches are very attentive to all of the players.”

Everton’s Summer Series Clinics Add Extra Excitement

These unique sessions gave local youth players a taste of elite training while being part of the wider excitement surrounding the Club’s international fixtures.

And as a special treat they were even got the opportunity to meet first team duo Idrissa Gana Gueye and Mark Travers.
