Everton Stars Surprise Youngsters at Finch Farm Experience

Around 150 young footballers enjoyed the chance to develop their skills under the expert guidance of Everton International Academy coaches at the latest Finch Farm Experience Soccer School.

Two sessions were held at Finch Farm, catering for players aged six to 10 and nine to 13, with both proving hugely popular and selling out in advance.

In addition, an all-day Soccer School at Eirias Park in North Wales also sold out, giving even more aspiring players the chance to train the Everton way.

Participants at Finch Farm were treated to a special surprise visit from Men’s Senior Team players Thierno Barry and Tyler Dibling, along with Women’s Senior Team stars Toni Payne, Emily Ramsey and Ellie Jones.

The players took time to meet the youngsters, share advice about training, and discuss their own journeys in football - offering valuable inspiration to everyone taking part.

Led by Everton’s experienced International Academy coaching team, each session combined fun, skill-based drills with small-sided games designed to inspire and challenge young players in a supportive environment.

Mark Thompson, Everton International Academy Head Technical Coach said: “It was fantastic to see so many young players enjoying the Finch Farm Experience and Eirias Park Soccer Schools.

"The enthusiasm, teamwork, and energy on display throughout all of the sessions was brilliant. Our aim is always to help players learn, have fun, and create memories they’ll never forget.”

Every participant received an official Everton certificate, medal, and a signed photo.

These sessions continue to attract fantastic interest from young players and families, so keep an eye out for future Soccer School announcements – and be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.
