Young players enjoyed the chance to sharpen their skills under the expert guidance of Everton International Academy coaches during their summer recess.

For the first time, the Soccer School sessions took place at Walton Hall Park, the former home of Everton Women.

A series of experiences for boys and girls aged six to 13 – specially designed to inspire and develop young players - was led by Everton’s experienced International Academy coaching team, who deliver a blend of skill-based drills, fun games, and small-sided matches to help young players improve while enjoying the game they love.

One parent shared their thanks after the event, beaming: “Thank you so much for what our son described as ‘the best day ever!’

“He really enjoyed soccer school, had so much fun and learned lots of new skills! The coaches were brilliant, very friendly and he was so happy to receive Coaches' Player of the Day.

“He is delighted with his Everton ball, medal and certificate. You have made a six-year-old Blue Nose very happy! Thank you again for a wonderful experience and memory for us all!”

All players who took part received an Everton certificate, medal and signed photo, plus an entry into an exclusive prize draw for the chance to win a signed Everton shirt.

These sessions again proved to be very popular, with each one selling out quickly.

More dates for UK Soccer School sessions will be announced soon.
