Train At Home With Everton

Everton in the Community’s Social Action Lead Dimitrios Christou has designed a flexible workout for supporters to follow at home.

The UK Government closed all gyms and leisure centres on Friday as part of increased measures introduced to contain the spread of coronavirus.

Christou’s routine is designed to enable fans to maintain health and fitness – and trigger the release of endorphins to sustain a positive outlook during a unique and challenging period.

His programme, featuring exercises to work all areas of the body and preserve cardiovascular fitness, can be modified to suit users of all ages and conditions.

Christou demonstrates the correct techniques for exercises such as squats, press ups and burpees, and shows how to adapt each drill according to individual needs.

Everton and official charity Everton in the Community has introduced its Blue Family campaign to maintain and extend its contact with supporters.
