Reece Welch has returned to Everton after being recalled from his loan spell with Forest Green Rovers.

The Under-21s defender joined the League Two club in August on an initial season-long loan, going on to make 23 appearances in all competitions for the Gloucestershire side.

It was the first loan switch for 20-year-old England youth international Welch, who has been with Everton Academy since the age of seven.
