Everton Under-23s' scheduled Premier League 2 match against Chelsea at Southport FC on Monday night has been postponed after the pitch was deemed unplayable.

The game was set for a 7pm kick-off at Haig Avenue but has been called off following a pitch inspection.

A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
