Everton Trio Named In England Squad

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Michael Keane and Jordan Pickford have been called up by England for upcoming matches against the Republic of Ireland, Belgium and Iceland.

The Everton trio have been included in Gareth Southgate’s 29-man squad, with the Three Lions starting their run of fixtures with a friendly against the Irish at Wembley on Thursday 12 November.

It is the second time Calvert-Lewin has been selected by the England senior team after scoring on his debut in the 3-0 home victory over Wales last month.

The striker, who currently leads the Premier League scoring chart with eight goals from seven games, went on to make it three appearances on the international stage against Belgium and Denmark.

Meanwhile, Blues teammates Keane and Pickford will be looking to add to their international caps tally of 11 and 28 respectively.

After their friendly against the Republic of Ireland, England resume their Nations League Group A2 campaign away to Belgium on Sunday 15 November before hosting Gylfi Sigurdsson’s Iceland at Wembley three days later.
