Everton head into Sunday’s game unbeaten in the WSL this season, having won four and drawn one of the opening five league matches.

The Blues booked their spot in the cup final by beating reigning WSL champions Chelsea in a last-eight clash at Goodison Park, before seeing off Birmingham City in the semi-final.

Raso said: “It’s been a great start to the season. We’ve got such a good culture, it’s a brilliant place to be.

“We’re flying. And to be able and play in an FA Cup final is massive. It's so exciting.

“Of course, it’s a shame the fans aren’t there but it’s amazing the game will be available to watch on TV for people all over the world. I know my family will all be watching it in the early hours of the morning in Australia.

“It’s going to be a tough match against City.

"But in our quarter-final game against Chelsea, I think we made a real statement by beating a top team like that.

“We know City are a tough side and it will be no easy feat to beat them, but we’re all up for it.

“We want to be lifting that trophy.”

Raso joined Everton during the January transfer window but had to wait to make her Everton debut owing to injury and the curtailment of the 2019/20 WSL season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Australia international finally made her Blues bow on the opening day of the 2020/21 season as Everton won 4-0 at Bristol City, and has since delivered a series of dazzling attacking displays.

“I thought it would take me a little while to settle in, but I felt like I did hit the ground running and started playing the way I can,” she added.

“Everyone at the Club made me feel so welcome, which helped a lot.

“I just want to be part of a team that’s doing well and contribute in any way I can. It’s important for me, not only to develop myself, but to help the team.

“The Club is so great and I feel so happy here.

"The facilities, the staff, everyone is fantastic. I’m just loving it, it’s awesome.”
