Everton are keen on Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero, according to a report in The Times.

Argentina international Romero, who has been with United for five years, originally came to Europe in 2007 when current Everton Director of Football Marcel Brands took the player to AZ Alkmaar in Holland.

Everton have "made contact with intermediaries to discuss a potential deal for the 33-year-old", says The Times, which claims Romero is "interested" in a Goodison Park switch.

Carlo Ancelotti could be poised to go back to Napoli for a second player following Everton's capture of Allan from the Stadio San Paolo, suggests Sky Italia.

Everton manager Ancelotti, previously in charge in Naples, is ready to make a loan move for Arkadiusz Milik, reckons the broadcaster, with Tottenham Hotspur apparently also eyeing the Pole.

Milik, 26, has netted 48 times in 122 games since joining Napoli from Ajax four years ago.

The Daily Express features quotes from former Everton striker Kevin Campbell, who is anticipating his old club pursuing further transfer business before the window shuts in 10 days.

Campbell declares the additions of midfielders Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure give Everton a "Rolls Royce engine", adding: “Obviously, the transfer window is not closed yet, I believe Ancelotti is looking to bring in maybe one or two more players I think could prove to be significant.“

Swedish publication Goteborgs-Posten says Everton are closing on a deal for 16-year-old midfielder Imam Jagne.

Jagne is at BK Hacken in Sweden's top-flight and reportedly has interest from Manchester United.

But asked about the prospect of the teenager transferring to Everton, Hacken sporting director Sonny Karlsen told Goteborgs-Posten:"Yes (the move should go through), I think so. We have had a good discussion with both him and Everton but it is not clear yet.”

Tuttosport in Italy, meanwhile, states Juventus are preparing an offer to take Moise Kean back to Turin on a season-long loan deal.

Striker Kean, who joined Everton from the Serie A club last summer, has scored in both rounds of the Blues' Carabao Cup run this season.
