Everton Women stars Dan Turner and Simone Magill made surprise phone calls to two talented young players from the Toffees' female disability football teams earlier this week as part of the Club's Blue Family campaign.

With football activities suspended due to the essential social distancing measures in place, youngsters Lauren and Mollie have been missing their regular training sessions with Everton.

They were given a significant boost, however, when they received calls from two of the Blues' longest-serving players, Turner and Magill.

Dan invited Lauren to watch Everton Women at Walton Hall Park when football is deemed safe to resume - and the Everton captain also promised to come and watch Lauren in action when she is able to take to the field again.

Blues striker Simone and youngster Mollie discussed how they were coping with the lockdown and their favourite TV shows and films, including Howard's Way!
