The Liverpool Echo and FourFourTwo magazine report on Everton’s £50,000 cash injection to launch the Blue Family campaign.

The outreach initiative aims to maintain contact with fans and provide support to some of the most vulnerable members of the community in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

“We are determined to do everything we can to provide assistance and support to our fans and the wider community, with particular focus on those at greatest risk,” said Everton CEO, Professor Denise Barrett-Baxendale.

Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, meanwhile, suggests Everton are interested in bringing AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to Goodison Park.

The 21-year-old stopper will enter the final year of his contract this summer.

Donnarumma made his senior AC Milan debut aged just 16 and has already made 190 first-team appearances for the Serie A side.

Turkish publication Futomac speculates Everton could be readying a bid for Galatasaray defender Christian Luyindama. The 26-year-old centre-back has been capped 11 times by DR Congo.

Back to the Echo, and the local read carries quotes from Everton Women manager Willie Kirk, who has explained why the signing of England international midfielder Izzy Christiansen during the January transfer window was a “big statement” from the Club.

“She showed a real desire and enthusiasm to come here and she's definitely the calibre of player we want to attract,” he added.
