Thursday's Daily Mail is one of a number of publications which tips Everton midfielder Fabian Delph for an England recall when manager Gareth Southgate names his squad today for European Championship qualifying matches against Czech Republic and Bulgaria.

The Mail also credits Everton with an interest in Jamie Hamilton, the Scotland Under-17 defender currently with Premiership side Hamilton Academical.

Everton Chairman Bill Kenwright is quoted in the Liverpool Echo following a young Blues team's win at Burton Albion on Tuesday.

"It is impossible not to be a proud chairman when you see a performance like that... a real credit to the Club," said Kenwright, after David Unsworth's side maintained their unbeaten start to the campaign with a 2-0 victory over the League One team.

Everton Under-23 manager Unsworth tells the same paper of his wish for B-teams to compete in England's football pyramid, an idea Unsworth reveals has the support of Blues Director of Football Marcel Brands.

Marco Silva explains in the Echo why he opted to erect screens blocking the view of Everton's USM Finch Farm training pitch.

"It doesn't make sense if we are working and on one Friday morning, it can be seen what you are doing," said Everton boss Silva.

"It is not because we are doing something secret but have a look at all the training grounds of the big clubs and see what they are doing in this way."
