Freddie and his dad Kevin arrived early on matchday at Goodison Park to pick up his first ever Season Ticket and take a look around the stadium.

Freddie is carrying on a family tradition. Both his sisters have attended the match as Season Ticket Members – one of them since she was four.

Freddie was presented with a certificate, his ‘My Debut’ gift pack and a pitchside photo – which all new under-11 Season Ticket Members receive to mark their first season.

Dad Kevin said: “Everton is a family club, and I wanted Freddie to become part of that family as soon as possible.

“It’s great for him to have the record of being the youngest Season Ticket Member this year, and to have his seat for the future, but I’d also like to bring him to as many games as possible as long as he is happy.

“We have bought him ear defenders and we’ll be coming prepared. We will build up to more games as he gets older. The response from fans so far has been fantastic.

“I attended my first Everton game with my dad when I was eight years old, and I fell in love with it. I distinctly remember being with my dad, watching Duncan Ferguson play and seeing Wayne Rooney’s first Premier League goal against Arsenal.

“I want to share experiences like that and more with Freddie and my daughters. It’s become a family tradition.”
