Last Chance To Have Your Say At Goodison On Proposed New Stadium

Evertonians will get the chance to take a virtual reality (VR) tour of the Club’s proposed new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock before and after the Blues’ opening home fixture of the Premier League season with Watford at Goodison Park on Saturday.

The People’s Project second-stage public consultation has been visiting locations across the Liverpool City Region over the past three weeks. It will be available for Evertonians on matchday in the Sir Philip Carter Park Stand car park adjacent to the FanZone (9am-2pm), then post-match (until 7pm) in the FanZone, as well as in The People’s Hub on Spellow Lane (12pm-2.30pm).

At all locations supporters will have the opportunity to view the consultation materials into the Club’s proposed stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock and the community-led legacy at Goodison Park. Visitors will also be able to take an immersive VR tour of the proposed new stadium and complete a survey which is a vital element of the planning process.

This will be one of the last opportunities for Evertonians to have their say in person at one of the travelling roadshows, with Goodison Park being the penultimate stop. New Brighton will host the final consultation event on the following day, Sunday 18 August (10.30am-2.30pm).

For anyone unable to attend the remaining consultation events, the public consultation will remain open online until Sunday 25 August, with all consultation materials - including the survey - available by visiting www.peoples-project.co.uk/consultation.

The results and feedback from the month-long consultation will form part of the Club’s final detailed submission for the planning application for Bramley-Moore Dock and the outline planning application for Goodison Park. Both applications are on track to be submitted by the end of 2019.

The public consultation marks the second stage of a formal process which began with a first stage public consultation last November.

More than 20,000 people took part in that consultation, with the overwhelming majority backing the proposed move to Bramley-Moore Dock, part of Peel L&P’s Liverpool Waters site, and the community-led redevelopment of Goodison Park.

Remaining public consultation events:

Saturday 17 August: Goodison Park - 9am-2pm
Saturday 17 August: The People’s Hub, Spellow Lane - 12pm-2.30pm
Sunday 18 August: New Brighton, Ian Frazer Walk next to Fort Perch Rock - 10:30am-4.30pm

The public consultation will remain open online until 11:59pm on Sunday 25 August. For more information, visit peoples-project.co.uk/consultation.
