Guide To Everton's Auto Cup Scheme

The Auto Cup scheme allows Season Ticket Members to sign up for cup matches in advance and avoid the inconvenience of purchasing on a match-by-match basis, without paying any booking fees.

When a Season Ticket Member subscribes to the Auto Cup scheme, home cup matches will automatically be activated on their season card, once payment has been processed. It is also the only way for Season Ticket Members to take advantage of the cheapest possible price for cup tickets and, in most cases, the scheme guarantees the same seat. Full details are available in our ticketing terms and conditions.

For 2023/24, Season Ticket Members will be prompted to enrol in one Auto Cup scheme covering all home cup matches regardless of the competition. Supporters will have the ability to opt-out of any games they do not wish to – or cannot - attend. Information on how to opt out will be communicated on evertonfc.com when the relevant ticket information for each cup match is published.

For the 2024/25 season and beyond, Season Ticket Members will be prompted to enrol in separate Auto Cup schemes for each cup competition.

AUTO CUP SCHEME FAQS

How much does it cost?

It is free to subscribe. The value of the ticket will be deducted from the Season Ticket Member's credit/debit card automatically once details are known. No credit/debit card fees or booking fees will be applied.

How can I sign up?

To sign up online, follow the instructions above. For any supporters experiencing difficulties enrolling online, please contact the Fan Centre on 0151 556 1878 (Mon – Fri, 10am – 4pm). Please note, for security reasons, we cannot register card details via email.

When will payment be taken for a cup game?

Where possible, we will endeavour to notify Season Ticket Members of prices and payment dates at least 14 days prior to each match.

This can, however, be dependent upon the period of time between rounds – and any replays that occur - in any given cup competition.

Notification will be given on evertonfc.com, in Everton publications and in the Everton Fan Centre. We will also publish this information via the Everton Fan Services Twitter account (@efc_fanservices)

What happens if I do not have sufficient funds when the payment is taken?

Where possible, we will notify you in writing regarding any failed payments within 24 hours of the payment attempts. We will provide instructions on how supporters can then update their payment details and process their ticket purchase for the relevant game.

Unresolved failed payments will result in non-entry to the match. Failure to resolve payment will also result in exclusion from the scheme. Participation in the scheme will be cancelled in the event that two failed payments occur.

Can I cancel if I do not want to go to a game?

Supporters will have the ability to opt-out of payment via the Auto Cup scheme for any games they do not want to - or cannot - attend. The Club will provide further information on how to do this within the ticketing information released for each cup match.

Why do I need to advise you if my expiry date changes?

The number on each credit or debit card is unique and its validity is checked by a modulus checker. With most credit/debit card companies, the expiry date is included in the modulus checker and, if the date is invalid or has expired, the payment will be rejected. Expired cards can easily be updated by following the instructions detailed above or by contacting the Fan Centre on 0151 556 1878 (Mon – Fri, 10am – 4pm). Please note, for security reasons, we cannot update card details via email.
