Vlasic Returns For Huddersfield Clash

Nikola Vlasic returns to Everton’s team for the first time since the clash with West Bromwich in January, as boss Sam Allardyce makes one change to his side for this afternoon’s meeting with Huddersfield Town.

Croat forward Vlasic had a brief runout from the bench against Swansea City a fortnight ago and is poised for his sixth Premier League start in West Yorkshire.

Morgan Schneiderlin and Leighton Baines have both overcome injury concerns to feature at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Baines continues in defence with fellow full-back Seamus Coleman and centre-half pairing Michael Keane and Phil Jagielka – that quartet starting together for a seventh successive match.

Jordan Pickford maintains his ever-present top-flight record in Everton’s goal this term – with Schneiderlin joined in midfield by Idrissa Gana Gueye and Wayne Rooney.

Cenk Tosun leads the Blues’ attack, the Turkey international centre-forward set to be flanked by Theo Walcott – fresh from his match-winning goal against Newcastle United on Monday – and 20-year-old Vlasic.

Yannick Bolasie is named on the Toffees' bench alongside Tom Davies, Oumar Niasse and Ramiro Funes Mori.

Everton’s substitute's contingent is completed by Beni Baningime, Cuco Martina and goalkeeper Joel Robles.
