Abdoulaye Doucoure has credited Sean Dyche for changing his life after "I lost my pleasure to play football".

The 31-year-old has been a key performer for Dyche since the manager's arrival at Goodison Park in January 2023.

Quoted in the Liverpool Echo, Doucoure explains: “I think I had great momentum. I had not played for six months before so I had that anger just to play. I lost my pleasure to play football… He [Dyche] helped me a lot. I just said I do not want this to happen again, I need to be good to stay in the line up, to get in the starting eleven and to play as much as I can.”

Elsehwere in the Daily Mirror, it is reported that Everton midfielder Dele will appear as a guest on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football programme when the Toffees take on Chelsea this evening.
