Everton Duo Selected For England Squads

Jordan Pickford has been named in the England squad for the Three Lions’ upcoming EURO 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia.   

Gareth Southgate announced his official squad on Thursday at 2pm, with the group due to meet next week.

Pickford has been Southgate's No.1 for the entirety of his tenure as England's manager and could be set to add to his 56 senior international caps next week in the two EURO 2024 qualifying fixtures. 

The Three Lions will welcome Malta on Friday 17 November (7.45pm GMT) before then travelling to North Macedonia on Monday 20 November (7.45pm GMT). 

England have already secured their spot in next summer's tournament to be held in Germany. 

Defender Jarrad Branthwaite has also been selected for England Under-21s' upcoming EURO qualification fixtures against Serbia and Northern Ireland. The latter contest is set to take place at Goodison Park on 21 November (7.45pm GMT).
