Everton can confirm 2023/24 squad number changes for four Men’s Senior Team players.

James Tarkowski will wear the number 6 shirt for the new campaign, while fellow defender Nathan Patterson will take the number 2 jersey.

Meanwhile, forward Neal Maupay moves to 13, with his previous number 20 being taken up again by Dele.

Tarkowski wore 2 in 2022/23 following his arrival on a free transfer last summer but moves to 6 for 2023/24, that number having been available since Brazilian midfielder Allan’s departure to United Arab Emirates club Al Wahda last September.

As a result, right-back Patterson moves from 3 to 2, the number he has recently worn with Scotland.

Everton’s squad numbers are subject to further changes before 1 September 2023. Refunds will not be available on personalised shirts if player names and numbers change.
