New Appointments For Leadership Team

There have been three important role changes at Everton and Everton in the Community in recent weeks.

Alan McTavish is our new Managing Director for Everton Women, a role he takes on having previously been the Club’s Commercial Director and, prior to that, Head of Commercial.

Alan is an experienced member of the Everton Leadership Team (ELT) and will have a particular focus on growing the women’s team’s fanbase, maximising commercial opportunities and delivering the ambitious vision of sustained on-pitch success laid out by the Club last year.

Alan’s long-term colleague on the ELT, Richard Kenyon, has been appointed as Director of Communications, Revenue and International Growth.

A key focus of Richard's new position is to maximise the opportunities associated with Everton's new stadium development, while he will continue to be responsible for devising and implementing strategies to maximise commercial revenues and drive supporter engagement and growth.

In order to fulfil this expanded role, Richard has stepped down from his duties with Everton in the Community, where he was CEO.

Richard Cronin, who retired from his position as Principal of the Everton Free School in July, will be rejoining as the Charity’s Executive Director.

During his nine-year tenure at the Free School, Richard oversaw significant growth and expansion, including successful collaborations with Everton in the Community to the benefit of students, staff, volunteers and the local community.

He will be tasked with overseeing the continued growth of Everton in the Community, with the charity perfectly poised to drive forward the opportunities presented by the Goodison Legacy – a £100m community-led regeneration project.
