Tim Howard To Join Blues In Florida

USMNT legend Tim Howard will be a special guest when Everton travel to Orlando for the Florida Cup later this month.

The former goalkeeper, who made 414 appearances for the Blues during 10 years at Goodison Park and earned 121 caps for the USA, will join the travelling party as the Blues' First Team head stateside for the first time since 2013.

The tournament, to be held at Orlando’s 65,000-capacity Camping World Stadium, will take place between 25-28 July.

New manager Rafael Benitez and his side will ramp up preparations for the 2021/22 season with a game against Colombian outfit Millonarios on Sunday 25 July, while Arsenal face reigning Serie A champions Inter on the same day.

The two winners will then vie for the Florida Cup trophy on finals day, Wednesday 28 July, with the two remaining clubs facing off in a third-place play-off.

As well as participating in the Florida Cup, a series of exciting engagement events with US-based fans and Supporters' Clubs are planned for the July visit. More information on these supporter events will be communicated in the coming weeks.
