Date For Fleetwood Cup Tie Confirmed As Forest Clash Moved

Everton’s Carabao Cup quarter-final away to Fleetwood Town has been confirmed for Thursday 17 December and will kick off at 8pm (GMT).

The tie against the League Two side at Highbury Stadium will be shown live on Sky Sports and ITV.

As a result of the cup tie being selected by broadcasters for the Thursday slot, the Blues’ Premier League fixture away to Nottingham Forest has been moved to Sunday 20 December (2pm GMT), with the clash at the City Ground live on Sky Sports +.

Ticket details for both matches will be announced on Everton Club channels in due course.

Everton progressed to the Carabao Cup quarter-finals with a 3-1 home win over Newcastle United last week, two days after Fleetwood knocked out last season’s finalists Arsenal on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
