It was around 2018. I was feeling quite frustrated with football in general, especially with my team here in Brazil, Atlético Mineiro, the famous Galo! And it was inevitable to see the arrival of our idol Bernard at Everton.

I didn't know much about the Club, at the time, and I started following it because of Bernard's arrival.

It turned out, embracing Everton was like hugging that grandmother you haven't seen in a long time.

All of the frustration I'd been feeling about football vanished. I found myself an Evertonian, quickly becoming another passionate supporter of this fantastic and exciting club.

A few years have passed since then, some difficult seasons, but the flame as an Evertonian has only grown stronger. Today, I'm a Toffee, hopeful for our glory in this moment of stadium transition, a new chapter in our history!

Supporting Everton has reinvigorated me; it's the best and most exciting thing that's ever happened to me.

It's not a generational family story, but it's an example of the sheer power of this Club and how it can reach us all around the world.

Even from afar here in Brazil, I hope to soon be able to watch a match at Hill Dickinson and feel the vibrancy, the passion, the warmth of the blue spirit.

Up the Toffees. You belong at the top!
