Everton XI For 247th Merseyside Derby

Vitalii Mykolenko returns as the only change to Everton's starting XI for the 247th Merseyside derby at Anfield.

The Ukraine international missed last weekend's draw with Aston Villa at Hill Dickinson Stadium with a minor injury but is fit again to resume his place at left-back. That sees James Garner move into his more familiar position in centre midfield alongside Idrissa Gana Gueye, with Tim Iroegbunam dropping to the bench.

Beto continues to lead the Blues' attack, flanked by Iliman Ndiaye and Jack Grealish, who makes his Merseyside derby debut.

Kiernan Dewbury-Hall also gets his bow in English football's most played fixture, while Mykolenko is joined in defence by Michael Keane, captain James Tarkowski and Jake O'Brien, with Jordan Pickford in goal.

Everton XI: Pickford, O'Brien, Tarkowski (c), Keane, Mykolenko, Gana, Garner, Ndiaye, Dewsbury-Hall, Grealish, Beto.

Subs: Travers, Patterson, McNeil, Barry, Dibling, Coleman, Alcaraz, Aznou, Iroegbunam.
