Everton To Host Quiz & Pre-Match Party In Atlanta Ahead Of Man Utd Clash

Everton Football Club is set to take over one of Atlanta’s best-known sports bars on Sunday 3 August - before the Blues face Manchester United at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Club’s Fan Engagement team and Atlanta Evertonians Supporters’ Club are inviting fans to kick-off matchday in style with a meet-up at Hudson Grille in Midtown (942 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309­) for The Blues Brunch Quiz and Pre-Match Party – a fun-filled morning of football chat, comedy, an Everton-themed quiz and giveaways that will ramp up the atmosphere ahead of the final fixture of the Premier League Summer Series.

Doors open at 10am, with the live quiz beginning at 11am sharp.

The informal and interactive quiz will be hosted by The Cooligans – the football-comedy duo of Christian Polanco and Alexis Guerreros, known for their humour, knowledge and love of the English game. With questions, banter and Everton-themed prizes aplenty, the duo will be joined by quizmaster Darren Griffiths, as well as Everton Ambassadors Leon Osman and Graham Stuart.

Fans will compete in teams via a live mobile-based quiz platform, taking on themed rounds and a wildcard finale designed to shake up the leaderboard in dramatic fashion.

The prizes will be as unpredictable as the quiz itself, with exclusive money-can’t-buy awards and a top VIP experience available as the grand prize to be revealed on the day.

During and after the quiz, fans can get to grips with Hudson Grille’s brunch menu packed with burgers, steaks, wings, fresh seafood, salads, sandwiches and gluten-free options, plus a wide draft beer selection and legendary $3 shorties – the perfect venue for Blues to gather before heading to Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

With limited capacity and excitement building, supporters are encouraged to book early to guarantee their place. Tickets for this event are $10 per person (circa £7.50) and include:

Saturday 26 July – New York/New Jersey

• 11am - Supporters’ Club Matchday Meet-up Redds Bar (renamed 'Blues' for the day!)

Located a short distance from the stadium, this matchday takeover is hosted by the New Jersey Toffees Supporters’ Club at one of the Meadowlands’ most well-known event day venues. On-site matchday parking and shuttle buses to the stadium are available.

• 4pm – Everton v AFC Bournemouth

Everton kick-off the Premier League Summer Series against the Cherries at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Tickets for the opening fixture are available here.

Monday 28 July – Chicago

• 7pm – Everton Fans’ Chicago Cruise Experience – Presented by Christopher Ward
  Set aboard the luxury Spirit of Chicago, this unforgettable two-hour cruise will include access on board the Lake Michigan cruise, two premium drinks (cash and card bar available thereafter), an-American buffet, Q&A with Seamus Coleman, Graham Stuart, Dan Meis, Adrian Heath, music, giveaways, all set against the stunning skyline views of Chicago. Chicago Evertonians Supporters’ Club will host one of their trademark matchday meet-ups. Graham Stuart will be the guest as fans prepare for West Ham at Soldier Field with food and drink available to purchase. AJ Hudson’s has been giving Blues a warm welcome to the Windy City for many years and this matchday will be special one.

• 11am–3pm – Premier League Tailgate at Guinness Brewery
  Leon Osman will be in attendance as Blues gets ready for kick-off. Bus transport to stadium will be available. Limited number of tickets available.
• 5:30pm – Everton v West Ham United
