Everton have teamed up with Fantasy Football Scout to help bring you hints, tips and advice during the 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season.
Scout will be using their expertise to provide advice and gameweek tips which should prove useful in ensuring you win your mini-leagues.
Best of Everton
The Toffees had a fantastic start to the 2026/27 season and as such FPL managers are looking closely at the best ways to invest in the Everton assets.
Thierno Barry (£5.5m) and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (£6.5m) both opened their goal scoring accounts in Gameweek 1. The pair both registered eight goals last season and look set to build on those tallies this campaign.
Dewsbury-Hall’s 11-point return was team leading. Not only did the midfielder register a goal, but he also collected three bonus points and a clean sheet point too. His eight defensive contributions weren’t far from the 12 needed for a midfielder to register the two extra Defensive Contribution points in FPL. Dewsbury-Hall impressively registered an FPL point every eight minutes in the opening fixture.
Illman Ndiaye (£6.0m) is Everton’s most popular FPL asset, with the midfielder found in 16% of FPL teams. Ndiaye registered nine points in Gameweek 1 with Barry and Harrison Armstrong (£5.0m) just behind on eight points each thanks to their goal and assist respectively.
The Everton defence was also secure, with clean sheet and six points for Jarrad Branthwaite (£5.5m), Vitalii Mykolenko (£4.5m) and James Tarkowski (£6.0m). Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford (£5.5m) made four saves, earning him an additional save point, as well as his clean sheet to see him gift his owners seven points in the game.
Player Spotlight: Illman Ndiaye
Ndiaye was The Toffees most creative player in Saturday’s win over Crystal Palace. His three chances created was team leading and only four midfields in the game could better that with four chances created each.
Ndiaye also supplied two crosses and had two shots, of which both were on target.
The midfielder was top across the Everton team for passes received in the final third with 20, as well as being top for touches in the penalty area with nine.
With Ndiaye’s on-field positioning and his route to points, through both goals and assists as well as penalty responsibilities, he looks an excellent buy in FPL for the coming weeks.
FPL Transfer Markets
Like Everton, Brighton also won their first home match of the season. Defender Maxim De Cuyper (£4.5m) who is registered as a defender in FPL, played out of position in midfield. This is exciting for FPL managers as it increases a player’s route to points, whilst also ensuring that they receive the full four points that a defender does for keeping a clean sheet. De Cuyper scored a goal, returned an assist and a clean sheet as well as two bonus points as part of a 17-point return. He is currently proving a popular transfer in with FPL managers ahead of Gameweek 2.
Other popular transfers in include Brentford pair Mamadou Sangare (£6.5m) and Michael Kayode (£4.5m).
