Charly Alcaraz is available to make his Everton debut for the Blues' FA Cup fourth-round clash with Bournemouth at Goodison Park on Saturday (3pm GMT).
Alcaraz – signed on loan from Brazilian champions Flamengo with an option to make the switch permanent – has trained with his new teammates at Finch Farm this week after completing his deadline day switch.
The tie will come too soon for Youssef Chermiti, who is back on the grass completing individual work as he steps up his recovery from a thigh injury, while captain Seamus Coleman remains unavailable with a calf issue.
Speaking in Friday's pre-match press conference, Moyes said: "I think [Alcaraz] is ready to play. He looks match-fit. I think the biggest thing is just getting him used to the group of players and letting him come in without putting him under too much pressure.
"He's got Premier League experience so the speed of the game, what is expected, shouldn't shock him too much. I think it's more about us getting him adapted and settled into the Club."
Asked what Alcaraz can add to the Blues' squad, Moyes continued: "If you've seen him play, his energy will always be something that he's known for. His youthfulness at the moment is still important – he's a young player. I think this gives him an opportunity to see if he can step up to this level again and we'll get him the chance to do so in the coming weeks and games we've got now.
"I'm quite pleased to get him because it gives us a chance to have a look at him and see how it goes. It's not something that has to be guaranteed, at the moment, but if he hits the criteria then we'll be in a situation where we bring him to the Club [permanently]."
Armando Broja is ahead of schedule in his rehabilitation from an ankle problem sustained in the previous round of the competition against Peterborough.
Meanwhile, Dwight McNeil continues his recovery after a successful knee operation last week.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (hamstring) and Orel Mangala (knee) remain sidelined for the Toffees.
The Opposition
Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola has confirmed he has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the Cherries' trip to Goodison.
Enes Unal, Evanilson, Marcos Senesi, Adam Smith, Julian Araujo, Alex Scott, James Hill, Luis Sinisterra and Julio Soler are all expected to be unavailable for the visitors.
