Supporters attending Saturday’s fixture against Arsenal (8pm kick-off) are encouraged to plan their journey in advance, arrive early and allow extra time when travelling to Hill Dickinson Stadium.

This weekend marks the final Saturday shopping day before Christmas, with routes in and out of Liverpool city centre expected to be particularly busy in the build-up to kick-off. A combination of Christmas shoppers, evening revellers and football supporters is likely to place additional pressure on roads and public transport networks throughout the afternoon and evening.

Train users are advised that no trains will be running from Cressington station to allow Merseyrail to run more eight-car trains. A rail replacement bus service will be running between Cressington and Liverpool South Parkway stations.

In addition, roadworks on the A585 Crosby Road South will impact fans heading from Southport / Crosby area. Please allow more time for your journey.

Fans are therefore advised to be patient and factor in potential congestion and delays, particularly when using bus and rail services, which are expected to be extremely busy both before and after the match.

Supporters are reminded that the Club’s dedicated Travel Hub provides the most up-to-date and comprehensive travel information, including advice on public transport, road closures and walking routes to and from the stadium. Fans can access the Travel Hub HERE

NB: The Regent Road wall opens at 5pm and turnstiles at 6pm for this fixture.

Team Arrivals on Western Terrace

As part of the matchday build-up, Everton will trial the use of the Western Terrace to allow supporters to welcome David Moyes and his players as they arrive by coach ahead of kick-off. Team arrivals became a popular part of the matchday experience in recent seasons, particularly during the final years at Goodison Park, and this weekend will provide supporters with the first opportunity to experience a new version of that welcome at Hill Dickinson Stadium. The steep steps of the Western Terrace provide a natural amphitheatre for fans to cheer the team into the ground.

Supporters wishing to take part in the trial are encouraged to arrive early and make their way to the Western Terrace. Access to the Western Terrace will be available from 5pm, with the team coaches due to arrive between 6pm and 6.15pm, accompanied by a Police escort. Capacity in this area will be limited and, once reached, the section will be closed to further visitors for safety reasons. Click here to learn more.

1878s Fan Display

The 1878s supporters’ group is also encouraging fans to be in their seats at least 15 minutes before the 8pm kick-off as they prepare to deliver their first fan display at the Club’s new home. Blues are asked to take this into account when planning their arrival time.

Supporters are advised that a light show will take place ahead of kick-off, alongside a controlled pyrotechnics display in front of the South Stand as part of the fan display. Fans who may be sensitive to loud noises or bright lights are advised to remain in the concourse until this activation has concluded. Click here to learn more.

EitC ‘Together We Can Make Christmas’ Campaign

EitC staff and volunteers will be located on the Budweiser Plaza to raise funds for the charity, as part of the Together We Can Make Christmas campaign. Cash donations are preferred, but staff will have access to QR codes, should supporters wish to donate by card.

Speaking ahead of the festive fixture, Dave Lewis, Head of Security and Stadium Safety Officer, said: “Saturday is set to be one of the busiest days of the year in the city centre, so we’re asking supporters to plan ahead, allow extra time for their journey and arrive early where possible. If you are using public transport, please be patient and considerate of others, particularly if queues are longer than usual.

“Staff from across the Club, local authorities and transport providers will be working closely together to help ease pressure on transport networks, support safe movement around the stadium and ensure everyone can enjoy the matchday experience from the moment they arrive.”

Early-Bird Food and Drink Offers

For supporters arriving early, food and drink outlets on the Budweiser Plaza will open from 5pm, with stadium turnstiles opening at 6pm. All kiosks and bars inside the stadium will be serving the popular festive menu.

Supporters visiting the Budweiser Plaza between 5pm and 6pm can take advantage of special early-bird offers, including four pints of Budweiser for £18 (£4.50 per pint)* from This Bud Is Blue Bar or four pints of San Miguel for £20 (£5 per pint)*.

These offers will also be available on the concourses between 6pm and 6:30pm, alongside a pie and pint for £10. Supporters in the Lower Tier can also visit the Pit & Pickle outlet in the South Stand to enjoy a burger, chips and a pint for £15.

These offers will run alongside the Club’s usual early-bird deals, including two pints of Budweiser for £10, two pints of Budweiser plus a Salt & Pepper Sharebox for £27.50, or two pints of San Miguel plus a Salt & Pepper Sharebox for £29.50.

More information on the festive menu and early bird offers is available in the matchday guide.
