Everton are one game from Wembley and will discover their Emirates FA Cup quarter-final opponents on Thursday.

An extra-time strike from Bernard settled an incredible nine-goal fifth round tie against Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park on Wednesday night, Everton eventually prevailing 5-4 against the Londoners to reach the competition’s last eight for the first time since 2016.

The Blues, who will be ball number 6, joined Bournemouth, Leicester City, Manchester City, Manchester United and Sheffield United in the quarter-final draw.

Wolverhampton Wanderers host Southampton and Chelsea travel to Barnsley in the final two ties of round five on Thursday.

If Thursday’s early fixture between Wolves and Southampton is settled without the need for extra-time, the draw will take place at 7.45pm (GMT). Should extra-time be required at Molineux, it will instead follow the conclusion of that tie.

The draw will be live on the Emirates FA Cup YouTube channel, Twitter and Facebook, as well as on BT Sport 1 in the UK.

All four quarter-final ties will be played across the weekend of 20-21 March.
