Everton Under-18s have been handed a testing away tie at Derby County in the third round of the FA Youth Cup.

Paul Tait’s team - who reached the quarter-finals of the competition last season - will take on the Rams at Pride Park on Wednesday 4 December (7pm).

Derby are the reigning Under-18 national champions but the Blues emerged victorious when the teams met on the opening day of this season – Lewis Warrington and Reece Welch on target in a 2-1 win at USM Finch Farm.

Everton currently sit third in Under-18 Premier League (North), with Derby two places and three points behind the Toffees.
