David Moyes says Jack Grealish is ready to start for Everton ahead of this weekend's trip to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Blues travel to north London on Saturday for a 5.30pm (BST) kick-off, looking to extend their unbeaten start to the season.
Transfer deadline day recruit Grealish impressed off the bench during Sunday's game against Manchester United, as Ainsley Maitland-Niles marked his Toffees debut with a superb, last-gasp equaliser in the 2-2 draw with the Red Devils.
Discussing Grealish in Friday's pre-match press conference at Finch Farm, Moyes said: "I think Jack is special – I think he is ready to play, yes. I think Jack is probably a boy who needs the football [matches] more than he needs the training sometimes.
"I think game time helps Jack. In ways, that's him still building up to his best but, I've got to say, he's had a good week of training and he's beginning to look ready to start."
Fellow summer arrival Christian Nørgaard remains unavailable, with Moyes adding: "We're hoping we get [Nørgaard] back somewhere after the international break. He's hugely important for us. He's someone who we're looking forward to gaining his experience and his nous – but, at the moment, we haven't had him on the grass yet. Hopefully it won't be too long."
The Opposition
Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi will be without Xaxi Simons, Wilson Odobert and summer loan signing Mykhailo Mudryk for this weekend's match.
But James Maddison could be involved following a shoulder injury, and Dejan Kulusevski is closing in on a return after a long-term absence.
