Moyes Sets Next Challenge After 'Special' Everton Win

David Moyes set Everton's next challenge after savouring a "special" victory as his record-equalling night ended with a 3-1 victory over Coventry at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The Blues moved into fifth in the Premier League table ahead of this weekend's round of matches, having to come from behind to Yann Gboho's 52nd-minute opener courtesy of a quickfire double from Thierno Barry, before the Frenchman turned provider to see Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall seal the win nine minutes from time.

It saw Moyes taste success in his 592nd match as Everton manager, going level with the legendary Harry Catterick, who also hit the same total by getting the better of Coventry.

Speaking to evertontv at full-time, Moyes discussed a wide range of topics including:

• How special it is to reach such a landmark with Everton
• How his side needed to show their character to come through testing spells and battle back against Coventry
• The development of Barry during his time with the Toffees
• Dewsbury-Hall delivering again despite narrowly missing out on an England call-up earlier in the day
• What is needed next from the Blues after an impressive start to the season that also sees them into the Carabao Cup quarter-finals
