Hill Dickinson Stadium is gearing up to host the 2026 Wings for Life World Run for the first time this weekend.

On Sunday 10 May, around 200 runners will gather at the stadium and join a unique global race to raise funds for spinal cord injury research, alongside the Club’s Official Energy Drink Partner, Red Bull.

The circular route, which traverses the Hill Dickinson Stadium site, will be synchronised with similar runs across the world, who all start at the same time (12pm BST).

The Wings for Life World Run is unique in that there is no traditional finish line. Instead, 30 minutes after the start, a Virtual Catcher Car sets off and steadily increases its pace.

When it eventually catches each runner, their race is complete! But for every runner taking part, every kilometre – and 100% of entry fees – contributes to funding life-changing research.

There is still time to sign up for Sunday’s Wings for Life World Run.

Sign up today, represent the Blues and help drive research forward.

Spectators are welcome to watch the 2026 Wings for Life World Run unfold from the Budweiser Plaza.
