Docktoberfest at Hill Dickinson Stadium has officially sold out, with more than 1,000 guests set to descend on Everton’s waterfront home for a nine-hour celebration of beer, food, live music and entertainment on Saturday 3 October.
The sell-out comes following a strong response to the launch of the Bavarian-inspired festival, which will transform Village Street and five of its interconnected venues into a unique Oktoberfest-style celebration on the banks of the River Mersey.
A waiting list is now in place for those who missed out on tickets, with a small number of General Admission tickets previously held back for commercial and operational requirements set to be released for public sale early next week.
Up to 50 tickets are expected to become available, with anyone who has registered their details on the Docktoberfest waiting list eligible for the release. Those selected will be contacted directly by email and given the opportunity to purchase up to two General Admission tickets.

Running from 1pm until 10pm, Docktoberfest will bring together live brass bands, DJs, Bavarian-inspired food, beer-tasting, karaoke, games and dining, with guests able to move freely between the different venues throughout the day.
At the heart of the event, Kendall’s Social will become the festival’s main bierhalle, while The Queen’s Head will host beer tasting and sampling, Domingo's Bar & Grill will offer themed dining before becoming an evening cocktail lounge, The Prince Rupert will feature karaoke, games and interactive entertainment, and Dixie’s by Budweiser will be transformed into a Bavarian-inspired food hall with plenty of Bratwurst and Frankfurters.
A traditional keg-tapping ceremony will help officially open the celebrations, while the live entertainment programme will feature Fat Cat Brass, Ivy League Oompah and an evening All The Classics DJ Set.
The sell-out provides another positive indication of the appetite for events at Hill Dickinson Stadium beyond Everton matchdays, as the Club continues to establish its new home as a year-round destination for sport, entertainment, hospitality and major events.
Aaron Duckmanton, Chief Revenue Officer at Everton Football Club, said: “The response to Docktoberfest has been fantastic and to see another event sell out is another really positive moment for Hill Dickinson Stadium.
“From the outset, our ambition has been for this stadium to be much more than a venue used on Everton matchdays. It has been designed to host a broad range of experiences and events and, importantly, to give people different reasons to come to this part of Liverpool's waterfront.
“What has been particularly encouraging is the reaction we have seen not only from Evertonians, but from people across Merseyside and much further afield. We have welcomed supporters of different sports, families, businesses, music and entertainment audiences, as well as people who simply want to experience the stadium and its location.
“Docktoberfest is another example of the variety we want to bring to Hill Dickinson Stadium. While this will be our first Docktoberfest, we are already looking at future opportunities in the calendar and how we can build on what we learn from this inaugural event.
“It is completely different to a Premier League match or a major sporting fixture, and that breadth is part of what makes the opportunity we have at Hill Dickinson Stadium so exciting.
“We want to continue developing a diverse calendar that complements Everton’s football programme, attracts new audiences to the stadium and creates more reasons for people to visit Liverpool’s waterfront. The response we are seeing gives us real confidence as we continue to build that programme.”
While Docktoberfest is now sold out, there are still opportunities to experience a growing programme of events at Hill Dickinson Stadium in the weeks ahead.
First up is Movies on the Mersey, which will transform the waterfront facing area of the stadium footprint into a pop-up drive-in cinema across the August Bank Holiday weekend.
The weekend opens on Saturday 29 August with Disney-Pixar favourite Finding Nemo at 6pm, followed by the feel-good musical Mamma Mia! at 9pm.
On Sunday 30 August, two more favourites take to the big screen, with Grease at 6pm followed by Back To The Future at 9pm.
The weekend concludes on Bank Holiday Monday, 31 August, with a special 7.30pm screening of Howard’s Way. Entry for the Monday screening will operate on a pay-what-you-want basis, with all donations supporting the work of Everton in the Community.

Hill Dickinson Stadium will then welcome an extraordinary line-up of football legends, international stars and celebrities for the inaugural #Game4Hope on Saturday 26 September.
The charity fixture will see an all-star Merseyside XI take on a Rest of the World XI, bringing Everton and Liverpool greats together with some of world football’s most recognisable names to raise funds and awareness in support of Everton in the Community and Shelter and their work tackling homelessness.
Everton great Peter Reid and Liverpool legend John Barnes will join forces to manage the Merseyside XI, with former Blues including Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka. Louis Saha and Yakubu among those involved alongside Liverpool favourites.
They will come up against a Rest of the World squad featuring international football royalty including World Cup-winning Brazil captain Cafu, Clarence Seedorf and Jaap Stam, with stars from entertainment and other sports also joining the line-up for an afternoon of football and entertainment.
