William Tamen signed for Everton Under-21s from Burton Albion in August 2024, joining on a three-year deal until the end of June 2027.

Arriving as an 18-year-old, the promising centre-back had made his League One debut with Burton during the previous campaign.

In 2023/24, he also featured in two EFL Trophy games – one of which being his professional debut against Paul Tait’s Everton Under-21s.

After suffering a long-term knee injury, he missed a large portion of the 2024/25 season, absent between September and February before returning to make six Premier League appearances in February and March 2025.

Tamen spent the second half of the 2025/26 season on loan at League Two side Tranmere Rovers.

Contracted until: June 2027
