George Pickford is a Preston-born goalkeeper who joined Everton at the age of 11.

He signed for the Under-18s as a first-year scholar ahead of the 2023/24 campaign and went on to make 19 league appearances for the young side, as well as debuting for Everton Under-21s.

In May 2024, he featured for England Under-18s in a friendly fixture against Morocco Under-18s and after a stellar season, Pickford was rewarded with his first professional contract.

The 2025/26 season saw Pickford train with the Men's Senior Team on several occasions and make 29 appearances overall, six of which were for National League North side Southport on a short-term loan. The 19-year-old signed a new contract in February to keep him with the Toffees until June 2028.
