David Moyes names an unchanged starting XI for the historic first-ever Merseyside derby at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The Blues boss sticks with the same team that drew 2-2 at fellow European-chasers Brentford last weekend, meaning Jarrad Branthwaite partners captain James Tarkowski in central defence, alongside full-backs Jake O'Brien and Vitalii Mykolenko.

Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford equals a Club record 18th Premier League derby appearance, joining five other players, while Idrissa Gana Gueye and James Garner continue to form the Toffees' central midfield.

Dwight McNeil makes his 100th Everton start as he takes the right-wing spot, with Iliman Ndiaye on the other flank and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the No.10 role.

In-form Beto aims to extend his run of four goals in his past five matches as he leads the Blues' attack.

Meanwhile, Charly Alcaraz has recovered from an injury that has kept him out since February to take his place on the substitutes' bench.

Everton XI: Pickford, O'Brien, Tarkowski (c), Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Gana, Garner, McNeil, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndiaye, Beto.

Subs: Travers, Patterson, Keane, Barry, George, Dibling, Alcaraz, Röhl, Iroegbunam.
