Seamus Coleman makes his first Premier League start of the season as the only change for Everton's clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford (8pm GMT).

Fresh from being in the XI for both of the Republic of Ireland's crucial World Cup qualifying wins during the recent international break, the Club captain is set to return to right-back for what will be his 433rd Blues appearance – putting him joint 10th on the Toffees' all-time list, level with Dixie Dean and Leon Osman.

Coleman's start sees James Garner move back to centre midfield alongside Idrissa Gana Gueye, as Tim Iroegbunam is named on the substitutes' bench.

Thierno Barry retains his place leading the Toffees' attack, flanked by Iliman Ndiaye and Jack Grealish, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the advanced midfield role.

Joining Coleman in the backline are James Tarkowski, Michael Keane and Vitalli Mykolenko, alongside Jordan Pickford between the sticks.

Everton XI: Pickford, Coleman (c), Tarkowski, Keane, Mykolenko, Gana, Garner, Ndiaye, Dewsbury-Hall, Grealish, Barry.

Subs: Travers, King, McNeil, Beto, O'Brien, Dibling, Alcaraz, Aznou, Iroegbunam.
