Beto is named as striker and Vitalii Mykolenko starts at left-back for Everton’s Premier League clash at Wolves as the two changes from last weekend’s 2-0 home win over Brighton & Hove Albion.

Having played 86 minutes in the midweek Carabao Cup victory over Mansfield Town at Hill Dickinson Stadium, Mykolenko – who missed the Blues’ opening two league fixtures due to injury – returns to the back four that also features Jake O’Brien, captain James Tarkowski and Michael Keane, with Jordan Pickford in goal.

Mykolenko’s availability means James Garner, who deputised at left-back against Leeds and Brighton, starts in centre midfield alongside Idrissa Gana Gueye as Tim Iroegbunam is named on a substitutes’ bench that also features recent signing Tyler Dibling and Club captain Seamus Coleman.

For David Moyes’ 542nd match in charge of Everton – putting the Scot level with Howard Kendall – Beto leads the attack in place of Thierno Barry after the Portuguese’s late strike against Mansfield. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is set to play behind Beto, with Iliman Ndiaye and Jack Grealish on the flanks.

Everton: Pickford, O’Brien, Tarkowski (c), Keane, Mykolenko, Gana, Garner, Ndiaye, Dewsbury-Hall, Grealish, Beto.

Subs: Travers, McNeil, Barry, Dibling, Coleman, Alcaraz, Iroegbunam, Armstrong, Onyango.
