Everton is again supporting Liverpool City Region’s March With Pride.

This year’s march to celebrate LGBTQ+ inclusion, which is anticipated to be the biggest yet, takes place on Saturday 27 July from 12pm at St George's Plateau, before thousands make their way through Liverpool City Centre and onto Pride in Liverpool's festival site on the iconic Pier Head.

During the month-long celebration of Pride, a number of events are also taking happening across the city, which can be found HERE.

And in the lead-up to the march itself, the Club will team up with Pride Sports and Football vs Homophobia on Wednesday 24 July, to deliver an LGBTQ+ inclusion workshop.

The session will offer staff an insight to the history and context of the fight for LGBTQ+ rights and help them to understand how they can help create more inclusive and safe environments.

Pride-based activities will also take place across the EitC programmes, in support of the annual event.

Everton also continues to work on creating safer and inclusive environments across the Club, game and wider society through its All Together Now campaign. Recently the Club conducted a policy review and updated its Equity and Inclusion, and Transitioning at Work policies.

Then, ahead of the walk itself, Everton plan to host a breakfast event and provide refreshments following the march for colleagues and stakeholders who participate.
