Frequently Asked Questions

How can I visit Goodison Park on a non-matchday?

We offer non-matchday visitors the opportunity to access to Goodison Park via a pre-bookable behind-the-scenes stadium tour.  Please click here to find out more information.

What is a Goodison Park Tour?

This is our behind-the-scenes tour at Goodison Park where our expert guides will talk you through the illustrious history of our football club, the legends - past and present - that graced the turf at Goodison Park and the many footballing firsts that came from the famous stadium.

You will have the chance to visit some of our newly-refurbished hospitality lounges and understand what goes on in here during a matchday and you will see the Directors' Box before heading into the changing rooms, both home and away. Visitors also have the chance to emerge from the tunnel to the sound of Z-Cars and take a seat in the manager's chair in our home dugout.*

Ticket price includes a 10 per cent off on full priced items in our Official Club stores Everton One and Everton Two on the day of the tour. This tour lasts approximately 60–80 minutes dependent on the group size.

What safety measures are in place?

The health and safety of visitors and our staff is our top priority. If you or a member of your household test positive for COVID-19 or are experiencing any COVID -19 symptoms please do not attend your stadium tour.

The tour route will be cleaned regularly and there are hand sanitising stations available across the stadium.

What is an open ticket?

Our 'Stadium Tour Pass' and the 'Open Stadium Tour Pass' are both ticket(s) for the same tour product. For example, you will visit the same areas on the tour with either ticket.

The difference between these two tickets is that the 'Stadium Tour Pass' means you select your tour date and time when purchasing the ticket(s), the 'Open Stadium Tour Pass' means you can select a tour time slot at a later date.

The open ticket is, therefore, a voucher option and is best advised for gifts or for those who do not know what date/time they wish to attend the tour when booking.

Please note: Open tickets still require you to select a date before attending the tour as this will avoid any disappointment caused turning up on the day with no reserved spaces. You must not turn up on the day without reserving your spaces or without your open ticket.

Details on how to reserve your places with your open tour pass will be on your ticket. If you are having any trouble, please call our Fan Centre on 0151 556 1878 and we will be more than happy to assist with your booking.

If you wish to purchase either a 'Stadium Tour Pass' or 'Open Stadium Tour Pass', you can do so by calling our Fan Centre on 0151 556 1878 or via our website here.

Open Tour Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Once this date has passed the voucher is expired.

Can I redeem my open ticket for a different age category?

Can I redeem my open ticket for a different age category?

If you wish to upgrade your open ticket to a different age category, please call our Fan Centre on 0151 556 1878 and this can be arranged by paying the price difference.
We will not issue refunds for cheaper priced age category attending on a higher cost open ticket. For example, if a child wants to attend on an adult price open ticket, this is permitted, but we will not refund the difference in price.

Are tours accessible?

A warm welcome awaits all visitors to Goodison Park, we do our utmost to accommodate the needs of any group or individual.

We have two areas where we have stairs as part of the tour route, one area when heading to the Directors’ Box seating area and back down again. This area can be accessed via a lift for those with accessibility requirements.

The second area is the players' tunnel. We have seven steps down and 13 steps up to reach pitch side and the dugouts. Unfortunately, we do not have lift access to this area, but there is an alternative route pitch side.

We allow complimentary attendance for one personal assistant to accompany any individual who may require assistance on the day.

We also offer interpreters or signers complimentary attendance when required.

We advise anyone who may have any queries or require more information about accessibility on the tour route to view our access guides below:

Do Everton run tours during the summer/close season?

We aim to run stadium tours all year round. However, matchdays, pre-arranged events, stadium maintenance and refurbishment work can result in access to some areas of the stadium being restricted. This may result in stadium tours being suspended.

We always ensure the health and safety of guests is a priority and this will determine whether we run stadium tours during these times.

Any closures will be announced on our tours page here.

Only limited dates are showing online for the month/week I wish to attend. Will any more become available?

Once TV selections are made for fixtures in a given month, more tours will become available.

Please check here for updated tour times and dates.

Our tour dates usually show 6-8 weeks in advance and will be regularly updated each month with more availability.
