Season Ticket Process & Timeline

Season Ticket Process & Timeline

In summer 2025, Everton Football Club will move to its magnificent new home on the banks of the River Mersey.

This section will tell you more about how we will relocate Season Ticket Members from Goodison to Everton Stadium.

When will Season Ticket Members be able to choose their seats?

The window for existing Season Ticket Members to choose their seat opened at 10am on Monday 13 January 2025 and will run until the end of March.

The longer you have been a Season Ticket Member, the sooner you will be eligible to buy within this window.

As the weeks go on, the eligibility criteria will decrease until every Season Ticket Member has been given the opportunity to buy.
The on-sale dates will run as follows:

How will I know when I am eligible to select my seat?

All Season Ticket Members have been contacted by email and told the date on which they will first become eligible to select their seat at Everton Stadium.

You can also find out your date by entering your name and supporter number in the form here.

What about the people I want to sit next to? When do they get to buy? And how can we all sit together?

If you want to sit with family or friends who have a lesser Season Ticket tenure, you will need to wait until they become eligible before choosing your seats.

For example, if three fans want to sit together and Evertonian A has a tenure of 15 years, Evertonian B has a tenure or 10 years, and Evertonian C a tenure of 5 years, you will need to wait until Evertonian C becomes eligible to buy before all securing your seats.

The important thing to remember here is that all existing Season Ticket Members are guaranteed a seat… and obstructed views really are a thing of the past. There are no bad seats.

To help with planning, supporters can enter their supporter number and the supporter numbers of those in their group in the form here. The form will then calculate the first date on which all supporters in that group will be eligible to buy. You can also opt to receive an email reminder nearer to that date by selecting the option in the form.

Why tenure?

Feedback and data from consultation with Season Ticket Members and other fan groups told us that a huge majority of Evertonians felt this was the fairest way.

This feedback, alongside a significant benchmarking exercise, also identified that it is the fairest and most practical way to give all Season Ticket Members the chance to change who they sit with on matchdays going forward.

Bringing different generations and groups of Evertonians together in this way will improve the matchday experience for thousands – and help with ensuring the famous Goodison Park atmosphere moves with us.

Why not give everyone a ‘like-for-like' seat?

The simple answer here is that like-for-like seats don’t really exist.

The stands are different heights and sizes and hold different numbers of supporters. Features inside the stadium, including the visitors’ section, accessibility platforms, premium bars and even the tunnel and dugouts, are in different locations compared to the Goodison footprint.

The results from our fan surveys and consultation told us that, because of this, there is a significant disparity in what fans sitting in similar areas of Goodison Park consider ‘like-for-like' at the new stadium.

This method would also present many more challenges in providing Season Ticket Members with the opportunity to select their seats at the same time as friends and family they wish to sit with.

What about fans on the Season Ticket waiting list? When will they get to choose their seats?

Once all Season Ticket Members have had the opportunity to buy, remaining Season Tickets will be released to supporters at the top of Tier 1 of the Season Ticket waiting list from 10am on Wednesday 12 March.

Supporters in Tier 1 of the waiting list who will become eligible to purchase a Season Ticket for 2025/26 have been contacted by the Club directly.
The deadline for all supporters to secure a Season Ticket for 2025/26 is Monday 31 March 2025. Once this deadline has passed, the Club may be in a position to make a limited number of Season Tickets available to more supporters in Tier 1 of the waiting list. This will depend on factors including the renewal rate of existing Season Ticket Members and uptake from those supporters higher in the waiting list and supporters who become eligible will be contacted directly.

If you have a junior Season Ticket Member in your group, there’s one more thing you need to know…

Any current Season Ticket Member under the age of 18 (as of 1 September 2024) has had their tenure amended to reflect the percentage of their life they have been a Season Ticket Member.

For example, if an Evertonian is 10 years old and they have been a Season Ticket Member since they were 5, they have been a Season Ticket Member for 50 per cent - or half - of their life.

In this case, their tenure would increase from 5 years to 11.5 years, which is 50 per cent - or half - of the maximum eligibility tenure of 23 years. That tenure would then be rounded down to the nearest season (i.e. 11.5 seasons will become 11 seasons in this example).

This amendment ensures existing Kid and Junior Season Ticket Members aren't unfairly penalised for not being alive long enough to qualify for the maximum 23+ year tenure.

It is important to note, this enhanced tenure has seen junior fans move up in bands and, therefore, become eligible to choose their seat sooner - but not at the expense of others.

Adult Season Ticket Members have not moved down a band or had their eligibility date pushed back as a result of this process.
