How do we use your data?	Everton will process personal data when recording and investigation safeguarding concerns. This may require disclosure to third parties.
Where does your data come from?	Data may come directly from you Data may come from referrals into the safeguarding team Data may come from third parties to support safeguarding investigations
What data do we collect?	This may vary based on the nature of safeguarding concerns but is likely to include: Name, age and other relevant identifiers. Contact information. Next of kin and known associates. Other agencies that may be involved. Sensitive identifiers including ethnicity, sexual orientation and religion. Details of the safeguarding concern and investigation.
How long do we keep your data?	We will retain safeguarding information for 30 years.
Who do we share your data with?	Data will be shared strictly on a need-to-know basis. Information will be anonymised wherever possible. Everton employees responsible for safeguarding Third parties as required as part of a safeguarding investigation or referral.
What is the legal requirement being met for this activity?	Public interest – Article 6 1 (e) Substantial public interest – Article 9 2 (g) UK GDPR and Safeguarding of children and of individuals at risk – Sch 1 Part 2 18 UK DPA
