TEAMtalk claims Everton could make a move for Celta Vigo right-back Óscar Mingueza at the end of the season.
The Spanish international is expected to become a free agent in the summer and the online outlet speculates the Blues are amongst the clubs tracking the defender, alongside Aston Villa and Newcastle.
The Liverpool ECHO features quotes from Accrington Stanley manager John Doolan regarding the progress of loanee Isaac Heath.
The Everton winger has picked up 11 goal contributions in 32 appearances for the Lancashire side, playing the full 90 minutes in near enough every appearance for the League Two club.
Doolan thinks Heath can play at a higher level and is not surprised by the youngster's development, after seeing him in action in the friendly between the two sides last summer.
"I think the world is his oyster," Doolan believes. "In terms of where he can go, I think he's too good for League Two. I think you're looking at the top end of League One or the Championship.
"I knew then [after the pre-season friendly]. I thought he was robust. He was bouncing off lads. He was strong and obviously he sees the game. He's a very, very talented player. He can move the ball both sides. He's got end product, as we've seen in the season that he's been here with his assists and goals.
"So, you know, he wasn't one that I was just bringing in just to be a squad player. He was one that was definitely going to start. I knew he was only going to improve and get better, and he's proved that."
