Iliman Ndiaye is fit and available for Everton's trip to Brentford on Saturday (3pm BST kick-off), while Charly Alcaraz has resumed training but will not feature against the Bees.

The Blues head to the Gtech Community Stadium after an extended break between games, knowing a win would be enough to leapfrog their opponents, who currently sit one place higher in the Premier League table – only on goal difference.

Ndiaye withdrew from international duty with Senegal but has been deemed available for the weekend's match, while Tyrique George is also in contention for a place in the matchday squad after missing the Toffees' excellent 3-0 home win over parent club Chelsea last time out due to loan rules.

Alcaraz has stepped up his rehabilitation after being sidelined since late January, but the weekend's game will come too soon for the Argentine midfielder.

Jack Grealish also remains absent after suffering a stress fracture in his foot.

Speaking in Friday's pre-match press conference, manager David Moyes said: "We've just about got a fully fit squad. Charly Alcaraz is back in early training - he's not available for the game but he's getting closer to being fit again."

The Opposition

Brentford boss Keith Andrews hopes to have Mikkel Damsgaard, Aaron Hickey and Vitaly Janelt available for Saturday's game following respective injuries.

But Rico Henry is expected to miss out, while Joshua Dasilva Fabio Carvalho, Antoni Milambo are longer-term absentees.
