Everton Sign Goalkeeper Startup

Everton have signed goalkeeper Katie Startup on an emergency loan from Manchester City.

A former England-youth international, the 26-year-old is available for selection for the Toffees’ WSL clash with Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon (12pm BST).

A graduate of Chelsea’s academy, Startup will offer competition to Emily Ramsey, while covering for the injured Courtney Brosnan.

The shot-stopper possesses a wealth of experience in between the sticks, helping Charlton Athletic to a promotion to the WSL2 before representing fellow top tier sides Brighton and Manchester City.
